Jawad Bendaoud was relaxed Wednesday by the Paris Criminal Court. This 31-year-old man, known since his highly media arrest in November 2015, under the sobriquet of "Daesh landlord", was prosecuted for "concealment of terrorist criminals". The prosecution immediately appealed this acquittal.

His co-defendants, on the other hand, were severely condemned: Mohamed SoumahThe 28-year-old, who is also a repeat offender and a detainee, faces a five-year prison sentence. As for Youssef Aït-Boulahcen, 25, brother of a young woman killed with two Islamists fugitive in a building in Saint-Denis, he is sentenced for "non-denunciation of terrorist crimes" to four years in prison including one with reprieve. The court chaired by Isabelle Prévost-Desprez did not issue a warrant of deposit, he was able to leave free. He has ten days to appeal.

A small-scale perpetrator

Mr. Bendaoud's release - who was due to leave prison on Wednesday night - is not a huge surprise, although the prosecutor took four years in prison. Aït-Boulahcen, "the most disturbing"

The case did not establish that Jawad Bendaoud was aware of hosting terrorists. He is not one himself, but only appears as an individual without morality, a delinquent of city, certainly unable to contain his logorrhea but who did not have to open the Qur'an often.
