It is without illusion, and with great disappointment that the BNVCA welcomes the verdict pronounced by the judges of the Special Court of Assizes, which do not condemn Abdelkader Merah, brother of the killer of Toulouse, anti-Semitic and anti-French terrorist, than 20 years of imprisonment, thus departing from the requisitions of the Advocate General who rightly claimed life imprisonment.
Thus, in their intimate conviction, the judges exonerated the big brother, from his complicity with Mohamed, of which he was the mentor.
If this trial was to be terrorism, we are not convinced that it has achieved its goal because, the decision of the magistrates anxious to scrupulously observe the pure right, leaves to the victims a feeling of frustration, the bitter impression, " we did not go all the way. " and that this verdict could be likely to give a bad signal to the terrorist apprentices, followers of radical Islam
The BNVCA expects the Public Prosecutor's Office to appeal this decision so that the defendants are punished according to the requisitions of the Advocate General.
