Sammy GHOZLANThe BNVCA is alerted by many correspondents, Internet users and sports fans, scandalized by the discriminatory policy
of the Tunisian government which refused the participation of French and Israeli Jews in the World Junior Championship of
Taekwondo, which took place on Tunisian soil
According to our information the Tunis Court of First Instance summoned the Tunisian Taekwondo Federation, and the chairman of the organizing committee
of the junior world championship in Hamamat, to ban the invitation, reception and accommodation of Israeli athletes
Moreover, a French Jewish sportsman, has suffered the same discrimination because his French passport was established by
the French Consulate in Israel.
The BNVCA expresses in writing its protest to the Tunisian ambassador to France.
The BNVCA indignant by this racist measure of the Tunisian authorities asks the French Minister of Sports and the French Minister of Foreign Affairs
to officially condemn this despicable decision, and to withdraw our French athletes, in protest and solidarity with Jewish athletes
especially on the eve of the commemoration of the Shoa, April 12, 2018,
