The BNVCA learns without much surprise by the press, that in the opinion of the expert psychiatrist Dr. Daniel Zagury who has finally returned his report in the case of the murder of Sarah Halimi, concludes an alteration of the discernment of the principal suspect, not an abolition. The expert blamed "the increase in cannabis use", which favored an "acute delusional whiff" at the time of the act, but that makes the 27-year-old partially responsible for his actions.
The BNVCA recalls that Sarah Sarah Halimi, 65 years old of Jewish confession, was savagely killed tortured and defenestrated by her neighbor, Kobili Traoré on April 3, 2017. This French Muslim, of Malian origin, aged 30 , shouted several times "Allah Akhbar" during the accomplishment of his heinous crime, last April, in the 11th district of Paris.
The BNVCA remains convinced that the discernment of the criminal was not completely abolished and that he intentionally targeted Ms. Halimi because he was Jewish, while at no time did he attempt to attack the life of any of the members from the Diarra family, a Moslem and Malian neighbor, like him, with whom he had entered, or to any other tenant of his building.
