Let's remember the facts. This 8 year old boy was immediately identifiable as a Jew. According to him, he was thrown to the ground and beaten by two young black men aged 15-16 who had hidden behind garbage cans and who did not say a word during the attack. On January 10, a 15-year-old girl suffered exactly the same type of silent assault. The same day, in Creteil, a kosher grocery store was set on fire. But with the attacks of Sarcelles, it is undoubtedly the silence of the aggressors which is the most surprising.

On Monday, a Jewish child wearing a kippah was assaulted in Sarcelles (Val-d'Oise). Should the fight against anti-Semitism be a national cause?

Let's remember the facts. This 8 year old boy was immediately identifiable as a Jew. According to him, he was thrown to the ground and beaten by two young black men aged 15-16 who had hidden behind garbage cans and who did not say a word during the attack. On January 10, a 15-year-old girl suffered exactly the same type of silent assault. The same day, in Creteil, a kosher grocery store was set on fire. But with the attacks of Sarcelles, it is undoubtedly the silence of the aggressors which is the most surprising. As if they were caring, voluntarily, not to fall under the indictment charge for anti-Semitism. Besides, that's what happened to the girl. Of course, the Minister of the Interior spoke of undermining the principles of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron tweeted that "it is the whole Republic that is attacked." But who are we?

Some time ago, the newspaper Le Monde devoted its Une to the "new anti-Semitism", with the story of the ordeal of Jewish families assaulted or sequestered. But at no point in the two pages of investigation did one understand why this anti-Semitism is new. Same thing in all these articles where we are told about the "return of the foul beast", this "brown plague" that keeps coming back, as if we could draw a continuum between the 30s and today. Same thing on the part of politicians. Not a word to say that this anti-Semitism is born in the suburbs, in populations of Moslem culture, to whom the Israeli-Palestinian conflict offers a pretext and a supposed justification.

It is a blackmail to Islamophobia. He led the historian Georges Bensoussan to the courts. Remember, when the barbarian gang had tortured Ilan Halimi for a month demanding ransom on the grounds that the Jews would be rich, the time it took to admit that it was anti-Semitism. And there, in the case of Sarah Halimi, justice does not recognize the anti-Semitic character while the expert psychiatrist explains that, in his madness, the murderer has assimilated a Jew to the devil, which happens quite often, he says, in the delirious puffs in some Muslim subjects. It is time for the President to make a strong statement, not to divide but to rally around a principle: the Republic must take back its rights, everywhere, and protect all its people by condemning all the executioners.

Where does this new anti-Semitism come from that the government wants to fight? "Asks Richard.
I dispute the last two words. We do not fight by limiting ourselves to illusory and impossible protection. To fight is to establish legislation, very severe punishments, that's not the case. It's not Ahasuerus. The deposit of wreaths afterwards, are only postures of cinema, does not change the mentalities, does not avenge, does not threaten, does not rush, so has no result. Word word.

Once again, I have to give up any sign of belonging to a religion to prevent children and others from being attacked. I think that some parents should think a little

We must ask the main question: What causes cultural antisimitism in "of" Muslims? As Jules Isaac did for the Church. These are the texts that teach contempt and hate and incite violence. We must denounce the verses of the Koran and the Hadit who go in this direction and there are some. All the rest is blah-blah-blah.

I do not think it is necessary to abandon any discreet religious sign, otherwise it will be the people who will go to the synagogue who will be beaten up. So will it be necessary not to frequent the synagogue? that is, to do what these criminals want, that there is no more Judaism. Will we be new Marrannes?
it would be a new Inquisition! No, we are Jews and why not proud to be, and we must put pressure on the Muslim authorities, Dalil Boubakeur in mind (we must read his edifying blog!), So that they realize the incongruity , the antisemitism of some verses and hadiths, and that this changes in countries where Islam is not a state religion ......

I produced and presented a Thema in prime time on Arte in 2003 entitled "Are the French anti-Semites? ". Behind this title, there were two films and two debates based on figures already published by the services of the Prime Minister at the time. These two films and these two debates already documented in the same terms what is denounced in this editorial.
15 years later, how is it that we are at the same point?
How is it that most of the media have chosen for so long to put Islamophobia or anti-Semitism "the foul beast" at the forefront rather than the real anti-Semitism of many young Muslim neighborhoods?
What has happened to come to describe this "New Antisemitism" as a reality that should have been obvious to everyone for a long time?
If I had to redo this show today, it is this shipwreck of the reason that I would document today. Not to teach, but to fight more effectively this "New Antisemitism" already too old in our country.
