The idea of a union of rights, Republicans at the National Rally (ex-FN), is making its way to the right-wing sympathizers, according to a poll released on Wednesday.

More than six right-wing supporters (65%) could vote in European elections for a list of candidates The Republicans, Standing France and National Gathering, according to a BVA poll released this Wednesday.

In this survey conducted for the Obs, 37% of the respondents declared themselves politically right, 36% left and 10% in the center. Only 15% say they are neither right nor left and 2% do not speak out.

A union limited to the European elections

Support for a reunification list of the rights remains limited to the European elections of May 2019. Rightwing supporters are only 32% to support the idea of union lists "whatever the elections". Support for this hypothesis varies greatly depending on the political position: it is 60% among respondents "very right", 35% among "right" and 12% among "rather right."

The president of the party Republicans, Laurent Wauquiez, refuses any electoral alliance with the Rally (ex-Front) National (RN), despite the calls of the foot in this direction of the President of the RN, Marine Le Pen.

The BVA survey was conducted via the internet on June 14 and 15 with a sample of 1,007 people aged 18 and over, of whom 375 were politically positioned on the right.
